Eileen Unger a Finalist for the 2006 Enterprising Women of the Year Award

Hammonton, NJ – January, 2006 – Monica Smiley, publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women magazine, has named Eileen Unger, of Emergency Preparedness Partnerships, as a finalist for the 2006 Enterprising Women of the Year Award. It’s an honor that is given to only one woman a year and is heavily coveted by all.

“The Enterprising Women of the Year Awards brings together the nation’s finest women entrepreneurs to recognize their accomplishments and celebrate their outstanding achievements,” Smiley said. “The awards recipients are influential, powerful women with high-growth businesses who are leaders in their communities and have given back to mentor other women entrepreneurs.”

A graduate of Rutgers University – College of Engineering and the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Eileen has been dedicated to the emergency preparedness field throughout her storied career of over 26years to Fortune 500 Companies, United Engineers and Constructors, Bechtel Construction and Conectiv. Eileen launched her own business, Emergency Preparedness Partnerships, 6 years ago. “Our primary goal is to help our gas and electric utility clients plan, prepare for and mitigate the disruptions caused by severe storms, hazards and other critical incidents efficiently, with minimum risk, and with a high regard for the potential impact on their customers, their facilities and their employees.”
