Eileen Unger Appointed to the New Jersey State Industrial Committee
Trenton, NJ – On October 20, 2005, Eileen Unger was appointed as a member of the New Jersey State Industrial Committee by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Eileen, a founding partner of Emergency Preparedness Partnerships and the Executive Director of the New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association (NJEPA), is also a member of the New Jersey Utilities Association and the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey (CCSNJ).
The New Jersey State Industrial Committee founded in 1920, provides a forum for professionals from industry, public employers and government to function together for the betterment of the States occupational health and safety programs. No important program has been initiated or undertaken without the input and an endorsement from this Committee.
A graduate of Rutgers University – College of Engineering and the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Eileen has been dedicated to the emergency preparedness field throughout her career of over 25 years to Fortune 500 Companies, United Engineers and Constructors, Bechtel Construction and Conectiv. Eileen launched her own business, Emergency Preparedness Partnerships, 5 years ago. “Our primary goal is to help our clients plan, prepare for and mitigate the disruptions caused by severe storms, hazards and other critical incidents efficiently, with minimum risk, and with a high regard for the potential impact on their customers, their facilities and their employees.
