Atlantic City, NJ – February 2004 – Emergency Preparedness Partnerships (EPP) of Hammonton, NJ is proud to announce its membership in the Metropolitan Business and Citizens Association (MBCA).
Founded over 14 years ago by seven small businesses in Atlantic City, the MBCA has grown to include in its membership 12 casinos, over 350 local businesses, 50 nonprofit groups and over 100 citizens. It is clearly one of the most influential city-specific organizations in the region.
“The MBCA is near and dear to my heart, as I grew up near Atlantic City and have literally seen the city’s pros and cons from deep within,” said Eileen Unger, President and CEO or EPP. ” Atlantic City is extremely important to the economic and social well-being of Southern New Jersey, which is why the MBCA’s mission is so critical.”
The goal of the Metropolitan Business and Citizens Association is to provide a positive forum for large and small businesses and citizens and government to come together and work together to help Atlantic City. It is the only group that includes all three segments of the community. MBCA continues to work for the betterment of the neighborhoods and to be a proponent of economic growth, expansion and development of the business community.
