EPPs Unger a Presenter at the Managing Outage Communications with Utility Customers Conference
Hammonton, NJ – February 2013 Eileen Unger, President and CEO of Emergency Preparedness Partnerships, was a speaker at the “Managing Outage Communications with Utility Customers” conference, presenting “The Three Rs – Restoration, Regulation and Rates” along with Howard Solganick, President of Energy Tactics & Services, Inc. The conference was held on February 28 and March 1 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was hosted by the EUCI.
The presentation reviewed the linkages between emergency restoration process effectiveness and outage communications, regulatory relationships and utility rates. “If your restoration process isn’t firing on all cylinders, you will never be in a position to provide the timely and accurate outage information needed to meet increasing customer expectations,” said Unger.
