EPP’s Unger Named 4 of Twenty Four People to Watch in 2004
Hammonton, NJ – January 2004 – Eileen Unger, managing partner and co-founder of Emergency Preparedness Partnerships, was listed today as #4 in SJ Magazine’s “Twenty Four People to Watch in 2004”.
SJ Magazine’s backgrounder on Unger and her Hammonton, NJ-based EPP stated:
“Formed early in 2001, the company continues to grow and help utilities and other providers of essential services prepare for the unexpected. As a women-owned business in a traditionally male-dominated field, EPP is unique. Eileen is no stranger to working in non-traditional fields – from her days as one of the few women in engineering school, her early career path in the nuclear construction field, to her role at an electric utility where she was the second female in her role as an Industrial representative, to her love of motorcycling (Harley Davidson’s, of course). She continues to break stereotypes and blaze new trails. Her mission is to keep emergencies from becoming disasters.”
“I am both honored and humbled to be listed in the SJ Magazine’s Twenty Four People to Watch in 2004,” said Unger. “And to be number 4, that just blows me away!”
Eileen Unger has over 30 years of utility experience, and her company EPP specializes in helping gas and electric companies plan for emergencies.
