Watch It Now: Crisis Planning Webinar for National Emergency Preparedness Month

 In EPP in the News

Hammonton, NJ – September, 2012 – As part of National Emergency Preparedness Month, Irving Burton Associates (IBA), developers of the In Case of Crisis mobile app, hosted a webinar on “How to Get Leadership Support for Your Disaster Recovery Plan” on September 18, 2012. Eileen Unger, President of the crisis planning firm Emergency Preparedness Partnerships (EPP), was the featured speaker.

During this webinar, Unger provided a brief overview of disaster/crisis planning and guidance on how to conduct a stakeholder analysis. She provided key information and tips that will help identify the right advocates within your organization for crisis planning. She also went over the barriers or hang-ups that can occur during the crisis planning process and technology options that can be used to make disaster recovery efforts easier and more cost effective.

“Getting support from key stakeholders can mean the difference between a successful crisis planning project, and an initiative that goes nowhere. You can’t underestimate the importance of this”, Unger noted.
